Partnership Overview: National Cancer Institute
The Partnership for Cancer Technology was formed by the University of Maryland and the National Cancer Institute in May 2010. The partnership was established to bring together expertise and resources in the mathematical sciences, physical sciences, and engineering at the University of Maryland with basic, clinical, and translational research expertise of the National Cancer Institute and the Center for Cancer Research to solve the most pressing problems in cancer research. The partnership also supports graduate student fellowships.
