Disclosures
Researchers are now required to disclose all sources of research funding support in their federal proposal submissions.
This includes the following:
- Current and Pending (Other) Support
- Research Gifts including In-Kind Gifts
- Consulting Activities, whether they are paid or unpaid as noted in the UMD Consulting Policy
As of November 1, 2023, The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Research Security Subcommittee released common disclosure forms for the Biographical Sketch and Current & Pending (Other) Support:

In addition to disclosing these activities in all federal proposal submissions, they must first be disclosed in the University's inTERP disclosure system system to abide by federal/funding agency requirements and the University's Conflicts of Interest and Conflicts of Commitment Policy.
