Research Policy
The Office of Research Operations Innovation (ROI), at the direction of the Assistant Director for Research Policy Compliance, ensures that all University policies and procedures align with federal law, state law, federal regulations, and funding agency requirements related to research and sponsored projects. Policy Revisions
Since 2021, the Division of Research has prioritized the review of research policies affected by NSPM-33 and related requirements. NSPM-33 significantly shifted the federal government's oversight focus to issues related to conflicts of interest, conflicts of commitment, and foreign influence in research and development. The University policies that have been developed or revised based on these requirements and information on the related provisions are identified below.
