    As part of its ongoing commitment to assist those who have proudly served our country, the Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is waiving all training costs for veterans through 2022.   "Veterans and their families have sacrificed so much to make the American dream available to others," says Paul Bardack, SBDC executive director. "It's time for the SBDC to redouble our efforts to make the American dream available to them too."

    The infection control policies in force at many health care facilities are based on outdated models of how respiratory viruses spread and badly need revision, according to a team of leading experts that includes a University of Maryland researcher. Their review of current best practices and suggestions for policy updates was published yesterday in Annals of Internal Medicine.
