Export Controls and Compliance Committee (ECIC)

The Export Control and International Compliance (ECIC) Committee reviews risks, policy, and regulatory changes affecting international research collaborations and makes recommendations to UMD leadership on immediate and long-term actions that the University should take to protect research integrity, as well as to protect the UMD faculty and the institution. The ECIC Committee works under the vision that the campus should foster international collaborations while assisting and informing researchers to minimize any potential risk.
