BSOS is pleased to share a new, interactive BSOS Resiliency Research Hub. This tool showcases our expertise on topics including economic, environmental, and democratic resilience, as well as areas related to health and safety, and oppression and stigma.

This tool highlights the full-time faculty members who are actively engaged in resilience research across BSOS departments, and shows the connections among individuals and units. It builds on the success and impact of the BSOS Inequality Research Hub.

“The BSOS Resilience Research Hub will catalyze collaborations across units, and will serve as a guide to students who are interested in related areas of research,” said Dean Susan Rivera. “I am proud that we have this transformative way to highlight the significance and depth of our research to the public, and to the university community.”

The college is grateful to Jean McGloin, Lisa Pierotte, Rebecca Hunsaker, Ted Knight, and to other members of the BSOS research team for their creativity, diligence and attention to detail in conceptualizing, refining and launching the Resilience Research Hub and the Inequality Research Hub.
