A dataset (ABoVE: Landsat-derived Burn Scar dNBR across Alaska and Canada, 1985-2015) produced by GEOG researchers, including Dr. Tatiana Loboda, Dr. Dong (Tony) Chen, and Dr. Joanne Hall, was acknowledged as the most downloaded dataset at the 7th NASA Arctic-Boreal Vulnerability Experiment (ABoVE) Science Team Meeting on 5/11/2021. This dataset contains differenced Normalized Burned Ratio (a commonly used burn severity index) calculated at 30-m for wildfires that occurred in Alaska and Canada between 1985 and 2015. It provides crucial information on wildfire regimes in the high northern latitude regions in North America over the past decades.
