Partnership Overview: Capital One

The University of Maryland has developed a close partnership with Capital One, who have provided support for a number of university initiatives, including the Capital One Tech Incubator in the Diamondback Garage, as well as UMD’s Center for Machine Learning. Capital One has provided funding for three endowed faculty positions in the new Center, as well research projects related to fraud detection and personalized, real-time features for banking customers.
