University of Maryland Vice President for Research Gregory F. Ball was featured on the March 24, 2022 edition of Virtual Face to Face with University of Maryland Baltimore President Bruce Jarrell.
During the first half of the program, Ball describes his research interests and background and the opportunities ahead for collaboration, discovery, and growth for the University of Maryland research enterprise.
During the second half of the program, the virtual audience pursued issues such as how to overcome the impact of the physical distance between the University of Maryland Baltimore and the University of Maryland College Park, what areas of research are underexplored, and ways to keep researchers at both institutions better informed.
