Adam Grant

Adam Grant joined the University of Maryland in the Summer of 2012, previously serving as UMD's Export Compliance Officer before being appointed as the Director of the Research Security Office in November 2022. Adam's prior career includes working as a civilian employee in the contracts division of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), and the Contracts Manager and Export Empowered Official (EO) for L-3 Unmanned Systems, a division of L-3 Communications Corporation specializing in Unmanned Aircraft design, production and flight services.
