Maryland International Incubator Hosts Campus Visit from French Embassy Officials

The Maryland International Incubator (MI2) hosted a reception at the Fischell Institute for Biomedical Devices at the University of Maryland for 9 officials of the Embassy of France on March 1, 2019. The event was held as part of MI2's effort to help facilitate collaborations between UMD and key stakeholders of France. A. James Clark School of Engineering Professors William Bentley, Arnaud Trouve, and Michel Cukier were in attendance.

The French officials included:

  • Stéphane Raud, Attaché for Science and Technology (Environment and sustainable development)
  • Hervé Martin, Attaché for Science and Technology (Technologies for information, communication and security)
  • Philippe Arhets, Delegate, INSERM
  • Jeanne Revil, Project Manager, CNRS Office for USA, Canada and Mexico
  • Leah Namoune, Accountant Adminsitrator
  • François Destrebecq, Associate IT
  • Carrina Lacorata, Program Coordinator
  • Clémentine Désigaud, Deputy Attaché for Science and Technology (Technologies for information, communication and security)
  • Raphaël Ollivier-Mrejen, Deputy Attaché for Science and Technology (Environment and sustainable development)
